Things That Make Me Happy No. 15: Gavin & Stacey
Earlier I was telling David that I felt fed up because it seems particularly Sunday-ish today. He reminded me that Gavin & Stacey is on tonight and that was all I needed to cheer me right up.
I picked this clip because as soon as I saw Smithy dancing, I was filled with a warm glow and watched the rest of the episode with a dopey smile on my face. Also, I love this song.
I know just what you mean! I love that song too and was really disappointed when it was interrupted by Jason arriving. Plus they won two awards at the BAFTAs! But as James Corden said, for some reason they weren't even nominated for best sitcom. They would surely have won that one too!

My favourite scene, classic acting, Nessa and Smithy and their newborn baby. Soooo touching, and poignant.

Me and the husband were *both* sniffling at that scene. It was when Smithy kissed her forehead. It just killed me.
