I have read the first book in this series (Night School) and loved it! I don’t think it is absolutely necessary to read the first book, but does help you with the plot and characters.
This book goes further into the details of who Nathaniel is and what he wants. Of course it isn't short of drama or life-threatening situations
My favourite characters are probably Zoe - because she's rather awesome and every one loves a person who can kick butt - and in this book I really like Sylvain (not so much in the first book, but he is much better in the second book).
This book has the most brilliant twisty-turny plot that kept me reading and reading right until the very last word. The secrets really do make this book; there are loads of them and they are very important secrets. It did drive me insane but kept me turning the pages! The only thing that I dislike about the book was a scene involving Gabe, Allie and Jo, just because it is very sad and I would like to know more about the motives and where the hell Gabe disappeared to!
I think this book would suit people who like a mystery/romance but don't mind waiting for the answers! Overall I give this book an 8 / 10!
