Review by Chelsea.
But then Cassidy hears disturbing news about Jonah which shakes her trust in him and makes her question her own judgement. If you love someone, how far should you go to overlook their faults?"
Cassidy is in love with Jonah: and rightly so. He is a kind, sweet, funny boy, who makes Cass feel like she is the only person in the world that matters. But maybe he isn't as perfect as he seems...
Cassidy is the main character in this book, and she's also my favourite. She is very easy to like, and also easy to relate to. The book gives a really good insight into her mind, and by the end of the book I felt like I knew her so well that we could be friends.
Jonah is very likeable too, but I felt that by reading the blurb, you already knew that you shouldn't trust him, and that he isn't as sugarcoated and innocent as he seems.
The book is written as if Cassidy herself is writing the book, a style of writing that I admire (mostly because I find it pretty much impossible to write in that style myself).
The main topic in this book, along side romance, is religion. This can be quite an intimidating subject for a lot of readers, but Kate doesn't push her views (or, if you prefer, take sides), with any religion. This makes it comfortable to read, and I found it nearly impossible to put down.
I didn't find the book confusing, or difficult to read. It was exciting, and the book was a good read from beginning to end. And the ending was amazing :)
I don't think that I have ever read any other Kate Le Vann books, but I will undoubtedly read more.

This doesn't sound like the type of book I'd usually read, but glad you enjoyed it :D

You should definitely read more of her books. I'd recommend Things I Know About Love and Tessa in Love.
Great review, Chelsea!

I received this book a little while ago, and my mum actually read it, and she said she didn't enjoy it, but I've started reading it and so far I think it's okay! The review backs up my side ;)

I've just looked up Kate's books- and like the sound of Two Friends, One Summer- so thank you for the recommendation of her writing (:

i think kate le vann should write a second book about cassidy and jonah coz it ended kinda abruptly like it was the end of the chapter and there was more to come. i love the book but i wanted more to see if they got back together and her becoming her and all that. i rate the book 5/5 though
