14-year-old Ever Blossom was lucky. Then one day she was in a car crash which claimed her whole family. Now orphaned, she lives with her Aunt Sabine. But despite leaving her old life, she also has to deal with being physic, being able to know someone’s whole life story by touching them, and seeing their auras. Plus having regular visits from her dead sister, Riley. Despite having two best friends (Haven and Miles) Ever is lonely, and doesn’t let anyone know her troubles. She wears hoodies 24/7 and shuns her old cheerleader lifestyle.
But one day, a new guy comes to her English class: Damen, who everybody is lusting over, but there’s something not quite right about him. Ever is surprised when she learns he only has eyes for her, but there are mysterious things about him... Like the way he always disappears when the beautiful Drina is always around - Drina who is stealing Ever’s Best Friend Haven - and the way he doesn’t have an aura. Having him around makes Ever feel warm, but is Damen really what he seems?
This book, was FANTASTIC! I absolutely loved it, and was reading it 24/7. I really felt for Ever, and there were times where she didn’t want Damen, and times where she did want him, but I completely understood her at every turn. Alyson Noël has come up with a brilliant idea for a novel!
The author really made it hard not to feel sorry for Ever, and there are also little mysteries throughout the book, which link into the main one. I loved the last part of the book where it's very dramatic and revealing. Evermore was brilliant and I give it 5/5!

Great review! I loved this too - especially how it sets up the rest of the series at the end.

Some parts of the books were good, others not so good. Felt a little disapointed by the lack of ending. But it was okay :)

I found this book a little slow for reading. Would make a good film though :)
Good review Hewitt :) x
