Double or Die by Charlie Higson
James Bond - he’s every boy’s hero, and the man all girls seem to swarm to. When did that start though? When did James start having a way with girls? When did he turn on the charm? I’d never thought about it until I read this.
It was a fast paced, action packed, fantastic mystery - clue-wise it was like reading the Da Vinci Code, except this had a fabulous story and great characters as well. I raced along, hardly able to put it down. And in the middle of solving clues, fighting off a very dangerous enemy and rescuing one of the teachers at his School, Eton, James manages a little kiss with a girl who’s helping him with his dangerous mission.
I really loved James’ friends and the scenarios he’s caught in.
