I love the sound of Ann Brashares new adult novel, My Name Is Memory and these two covers are very pretty too.
The cover on the left is the UK cover and the one on the right is the US cover. I haven't read the book yet, but I love them both. I think the US one shades it very slightly, but only because sunlight on water makes me very happy.
What about you?

No idea what the story is but I agree with you. The American cover appeals to me more than the British one. Sunlight on water is a happier image for me, and it sparks memories.
The British cover looks a bit twee. Not sure I'd pick it up and read the blurb, if I saw it in a shop.

I'm with you both. Sunlight on water sings to my heart on some level. It makes me feel happy and in fact although I have no idea what the book is about, the word memory coupled with that image is a pleasing one. The UK cover is pretty too.

I like the UK one best, too. I think it would call to me from a shelf. I must read Ann Brashares one day!

I like the US cover, unsurprisingly.
Oh, and I asked my American friend about the US cover for Prep. Apparently the belt is *the* must have accessory for the "preppy" look favoured by the kind of set that goes to private prep school.

I prefer the US version as water always soothes me. My daughter would prefer the UK one as she loves lilac! They are both lovely though.
