Another year, another book club! But we've made some changes. Last year, I (Keris) chose all of the books. This year, Diane, Helen and I have chosen four books each: one non-fiction, one fiction, one young adult and one modern classic. And following heated negotiations, we've also got a schedule. But we're keeping it to ourselves just for the moment and only revealing the first three choices.
There will be another couple of changes too. The person who chose the book will introduce it and reveal their reasons for choosing it and then, at the end of the month, will kick off the discussion with a few book club-type questions (let me warn you now, I am rubbish at this, but I'll do my best).

February: White Tiger by Aravind Adiga (fiction, Diane's choice)
March: Vampire Diaries: The Awakening by L J Smith (YA, Diane's choice)
Leeds Library system lets me down again! My budget won't stretch to buying the book every month but I've not been able to request any of the books in the last few months. Grrr...

Oh, that's a shame Wendy :( I'm planning to buy most of these secondhand from Amazon if thats an option for you (should cost less than £3 in most cases). Hope you can join in at least some months! x

ooh. I have stuffed. Maybe this will be the kick I need to get reading again - its just 1 of many, many unread books.

Stuffed is great, Lesley - perfect post-Xmas comfort reading, but not total fluff.
I've never managed to sell anything on GM, Keris - although I told a friend about it and she's sold lots!
