You've heard of the website, 43Things.com, I assume? In case you haven't, it's a place to record your "dream list", i.e. a list of things you want to accomplish (over whatever period you choose). So when I was sent the book, I thought it looked quite cute and it was an interesting idea - tips on how to make your dreams come true through theuse of a life list, plus success stories - but I can't say I was that excited. Until I opened it.
Years ago, on holiday in America, I bought a book called The Wish List by Barbara Ann Kipfer. It cost 25c and it was (or rather, is - I've still got it) hilarious. Suggestions for "things to do see, taste, learn, and experience" include "Sit in on a recording session with Barbra Streisand", "Win the Nobel Peace Prize", "own land on which there's a gravity-fed spring" and "win the Pillsbury bake-off". (If you're interested, I've done ALL of those things! I have!)
Dream It, List It, Do It looks exceedingly similar to The Wish List. It's produced by the same publisher, is the same size and they've even used the same tick-box design for the dreams as they did for the wishes, but rather than simply being a list, the 43Things book is split into (43) chapters with advice on how to achieve your dreams.
It looks really good and it may even replace The Wish List as my annual New Year's Day read.

What did you win the Nobel peace prize for? (am I being dense, should I already know this?)

Debs, it was for brokering the WW chick lit peace accord. Can't believe you forgot that! ;)
