September's book club book was Kasey Edwards' 30-Something and Over It. Did you read it? Could you finish it? I haven't quite... yet. But I am persevering.
Anyone else want to kick off the discussion in the comments and I'll join in later today? (I found a couple of alternative covers to make up for having nothing to say. Which do you like best?)

What is it with *legs* on covers these days?
(But it is the best)

Reply to Debs:
I guess they want to give you an idea of the character without depriving you the chance to create them in your mind. But I agree, there's a lot of legs kicking around my bookshelf.

I read it. I wasn't sure what I was expecting but I did get to the end of it.
Weird mix of memoir and self-help that I found a bit disconcerting. Some moments were funny, but on the whole, it was all about her journey to figuring out what to do with her life and acceptance that it was okay to be f*cked up (everyone is) and that there are no answers (or answers that'll last forever).
Some good ideas though.

I really didn't like this book one bit, which is why I struggled to say anything about it. I thought it was going to be a memoir, but it was more of a self-help book and not a particularly useful or focussed on, IMO. It seemed more like a magazine article stretched to book length. I struggled to get through it.
