I must say, if ever a book is featured on TV, I'm always craning to see what it is, so I was interested to see that The Daily Beast has compiled a list of books that have made cameo appearances in Mad Men.
I was particulary interested in Don Draper's bedside reading, The Best of Everything by Rona Jaffe, not only because I'd be interested in anything Don Draper got up to in bed (hubba), but also because I love the cover and the book itself sounds so good.
Has anyone read it?

Ooh I love the cover! Um, not read it though.

Yes, I read it before Mad Men came out. It's a wonderful book. It details the lives of three very different women in the time period of mad men. I hearitly recommend it.
