Here at Five Minutes Peace, we're planning on running a book club next year.
Nothing too tricky, just twelve books over twelve months that we can all read and then chat about in the comments.
So what do I need from you? Recommendations!
I've got a few books in mind, but if there's a book you love and would love more people to read, let me know. I'm happy to go for a good mix, so classics, children's books, fiction, non-fiction, anything goes.

Well, I've had Jonathan Strange & Mr Norell on my bookshelf for two years (two years!) now and could do with an incentive to actually read it.
I'd quite like to revisit some classics from my youth as well - Anne of Green Gables.
I've never read any of Jodi Picault's books and feel I should.
Really, I'll just read anything if only I could have five minutes peace...

Camilla, I think it took me about three months to read that (and then I wasn't convinced it was worth it), so maybe not, eh?

Fair enough. Off it goes back to the friend I borrowed it from never to see the light of day again.

I read and loved "My Vintage Summer" by Jane Elmor a few months ago and I still want the world to read it - anyone who grew up in the seventies will be enraptured and transported back to the summer of '77.... just a suggestion.
